TRADE ONLY
Quadra Invest are a “Trade Only” supplier and require evidence of business trading, before supplying any potential new customer. Documentary proof (i.e. Vat Certificate, Business Invoices etc), will be required.
We reserve the right to reject any application that we feel is not ‘bona fide’ trade and to turn down any prospective customer if we feel that their location could be detrimental to the trading business of an existing account.
THE PRICE AND PAYMENT
All prices are in EURO, FCA Targoviste, Romania, and are inclusive of package. All prices are exclusive of transport and V.A.T.
Prices can be changed without prior notice. All orders are charged at prices ruling at the time of dispatch.
Payments have to be made by one of the following payment methods:
irrevocable Letter of Credit, payable at sight, issued after the order acceptance
or
a deposit of 30% of the total cost is required at the time the order is placed and the remaining balance is required two weeks before the dispatch of the goods.
All goods remain in the property of Quadra Invest until fully paid for.
ORDERS
The minimum accepted order is of 1,500 Euro.The minimum order overseas is a 20’ container.
INSURANCE
The prices include insurance, which means that the risk of transport damage is our account, up to the delivery to your door.
DELIVERY / TRANSPORT
Quadra Invest can arrange the transport at request, by truck or by container. In case of non-insurance, the risk of loss or damage belongs to the customer from the moment the goods are being loaded on the first means of transportation (truck or container) and cleared for export.
We are doing our best to assure that the orders are dispatched within 6 to 8 weeks. Factory and delivery schedules can change without notice; therefore, delivery times indicated are an estimate and not guaranteed. Since these delivery schedules are estimates, we cannot offer any monetary compensation, order cancellation or deposit refunds for delayed shipments.
When clients arrange transportation they will need to assure the pick-up of goods at the agreed date.
Trucks:
In case of accident or robbery one should not proceed to unloading the goods and should immediately and formally notice us. We will immediately contact the insurance company that will appoint an agent that will come to take note of the damages.
The client is responsible that the truck can easily reach the unloading place. The driver may help unloading but he is not obliged to.
Containers:
Quadra will issue the proper export documents and will send the originals by express courier. The client is responsible for inland transportation from Targoviste to the Romanian port, all handling costs in the ports of loading/discharge, sea freight and inland transportation in the country of delivery, customs duty, stevedore, demurrage, warehousing, pick-up.
Complaints:
Any visible faulty goods and the quantitative discrepancies should be mentioned on the transport document during the unloading of the goods. Failure to comply with this procedure will result in items not being credited.
Any non-visible defects and qualitative claim will not be accepted unless Quadra Invest SA receives the claim, in writing, within 30 days from the receipt of the goods.
For any claim the client should send a photo and fill in a standard quality claim form that is available at request.
Small cracks and splits can appear and are inherent to the solid wood products.
Small colour differences may appear on solid wood furniture.
Each leather hide has unique marks, color variations and a personality of its own. These distinctive marks are nicks, stretch marks, healed scars and native marks. Only true leather can boast these marks.
All these distinctive things make our products special and are no reason for quality complaints.
PRODUCTS WITH PERSONALITY
Natural variations occurring in wood or other materials are not considered defects and the colour-fastness or matching of colors, grains, or textures of such materials may be different from a product to the other. The furniture made of solid wood is ‘alive’ and may work in time. However, quality problems may be prevented by installing, using and maintaining the furniture in accordance with our product care instructions which are available at request.
THE PRODUCTS
Photographs in the catalog and on the website do not always faithfully reproduce paint and stain colouring.
The dimensions in our catalogue and on the website are taken from the widest outside points, and may vary slightly from the dimensions shown. If exact dimensions are needed, please advise us when placing the order.
We reserve the right to make any change in design without prior notice.
LIABILITY
Quadra’s liability can never exceed the value of the merchandise delivered. All orders are accepted on a best effort basis only and can never be seen as a delivery guarantee. Non-delivery of items can never be a justification for any claim to Quadra.
Any typographical or clerical or other error or omission in any sales literature, quotation, price list, offer acceptance, invoice or other information issued by the Seller shall be subject of correction without any liability on the part of the Seller.
These General Terms and Conditions replace all prior understandings regarding delivery and are valid for all Quadra deliveries from January 1st 2006, unless specifically agreed otherwise.
